The Glow Formula is a kid-friendly protocol that helps students de-escalate and reengage positively in the world around them. In Glowmundo curriculum, students explore each of the steps (stop, breath, feel, think, act) in great depth, and they collaboratively create a safe space in the classroom with the resources needed to support their practice!

They described it as their "brick" during this challenging time, noting that our structures and lessons provided students with a sense of predictability and safety, supported them in navigating strong emotions, and ultimately helped them feel better. Glowmundo's approach to trauma-informed instruction

Glowmundo brings a neuroscience-based approach that helps the adults in the building understand what's happening to a brain under trauma, how to effectively deescalate a student's fight or flight response, and how to support these students instructionally so they're available learners. We also support teachers in developing their own self-care practice to prevent vicarious (second-hand) trauma and subsequent burnout.
